IMT Gives Back to Community, Makes Charitable Donations

GARNER, IA — Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. (IMT), an Oshkosh Corporation company, recently gave back to its community through employee fundraising efforts. A donation of $500 was made to the Garner Volunteer Ambulance Service, a $2,500 donation to the Food Bank of Iowa, a $250 donation to Habitat For Humanity of North Central Iowa as well as a donation of $150 to the United Way of Central Iowa.

“Giving back to the community is at the heart of IMT culture,” said Jim Hasty, IMT General Manager. “We recognize the importance of supporting endeavors that strengthen the North Iowa region and are pleased to contribute to growing and sustaining those efforts, especially during this season of giving.”

The Garner Volunteer Ambulance Service provides first-responder assistance to the city of Garner, Iowa, and supports community events. The donation from IMT will support the organization’s ability to provide emergency services to Garner residents.

The Food Bank of Iowa provides food to Iowans in need and assists food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. IMT’s donation supports the Food Bank’s efforts to end hunger in the North Iowa region.

Habitat for Humanity works to bring people together to build homes for those in need of decent housing. And the United Way of Central Iowa unites community stakeholders to identify and address tough issues in the region.
