In this position, Bennett will build and strengthen relationships with current and potential clients as well as industry partners throughout the Kansas City region. He will focus his efforts on healthcare, advanced technology and manufacturing, and other markets while expanding McCarthy’s local team of building experts.
Bennett joins McCarthy with a 24-year track record of business development and construction leadership experience. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Business Development at McCownGordon Construction in Kansas City. His previous construction industry experience also includes business development roles with the Lenexa, Kansas, office of Nabholz Construction; the northern California district of Hensel Phelps; and the Texas division of Martin K. Eby Construction Co.

An active supporter of the local community, Bennett’s civic involvement includes serving on the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Real Estate Committee Advisory Board of Directors, the legislative committee of the Civic Council of Kansas City, the Olathe Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Advisory Board of Directors of the Urban Land Institute. He’s a graduate of Kansas City Tomorrow, a leadership development program sponsored by the Civic Council of Kansas City.
