With the expansion into the Rapid City office, McGough brings specialized construction capabilities that will lend themselves to major construction projects across the area, including the improvement and expansion of schools, health care systems, universities, and municipal infrastructure.
“We have been growing in South Dakota for the past couple of years and wanted to continue to better serve our customer base, so a move to Rapid City was a natural step for us,” said Clark Hagen, General Manager of McGough’s South Dakota operation. “As people’s needs continue to grow across the state, we wanted to help that effort to ensure South Dakota remains one of the best places to work, live, and raise a family in the United States. We want to help these communities continue to grow, and having a local office that can meet their needs was critical.”
The move for McGough comes at the right time as the Black Hills area continues to experience rapid growth, bringing with it the need for expanded facilities and services. Just last year, the U.S. Census Bureau reported the Rapid City region as the fastest growing metro in the Midwest, with growth poised to continue in the coming years.
In the new office, McGough also brings a unique approach to construction, operating as a value-focused partner, advocating for their clients rather than serving solely as a delivery agent on their projects. This approach to partnership has created hundreds of successful experiences for their customers across the nation for more than 66 years.
